Count on Me - SALE

Players have fun learning how to be responsible at home, in school, with friends and in the community. Count On Me is an educational board game designed to teach young people how to act responsibly. It is designed for students in grades 1-5, and it can be used as high interest material for older students. It also can be used for kindergarten students and other non-readers by having the teacher read the cards.

In order to make the game challenging and exciting for all students from grades 1-5, the game contains two full sets of cards, three sets of rules, and additional options for teachers to tailor the play of the game to the level of their students. The cards for the younger students are the darker colours, and the cards for the older students are the lighter colours.

Learning objectives:

Players will: 

• Understand the concept of being responsible Learn how being responsible (or irresponsible) affects other people.
  
• Learn how to be a responsible young person Learn specific things that a young person can do in order to be responsible in all four categories.
  
• Develop empathy for teachers and parents (as players begin to understand how irresponsible acts negatively impact others).
