Languages and Literacies as Mobile and Placed Resources

This book represents the next wave of theorising in literacy studies, in which theories of mobility, networking and glocalisation have emerged to account for the dynamic landscape of globally circulating communication resources. The mobility turn is likely to preoccupy researchers, educators and cultural observers for a similar period as that in which the field of New Literacy Studies has been dominating the scene.
