Learning Primary Geography

Learning Primary Geography is for all student and practising teachers. It showcases inspiring examples of children’s work from a wide range of schools and explains how and why approaches such as enquiry learning, learning outside the classroom and using imaginative resources work so well in primary geography. It explores thinking geographically, learning through issues and events, using maps, globes and technology, developing children’s literacies in all areas, planning and presenting children’s work, and avoiding the boring topics! It will be a source of guidance and inspiration for all those teaching geography in the primary school.
