Young Children’s Civic Mindedness

This book encourages early childhood, elementary and civic educators to develop improved teaching for children’s civic development by exploring the ways children approach civic problems; how children’s experience in various local and larger contexts shapes their thinking; and the environmental factors that delimit what children see as possible.
